For color services, extensions and major transformations, yes. A brief consultation (about 15–20 minutes) helps us understand your hair history, goals and lifestyle before we make any decisions. Consultations can be booked online anytime.

Where are you located and what are your hours?





We're at 10526 W Parmer Ln, Suite 417, Austin, TX 78717. Our hours are Monday 8am–6pm, Tuesday through Thursday 8am–8pm, Friday 8am–7pm and Saturday 8am–5pm. We're closed on Sundays.

How far in advance should I book my appointment?





It varies by stylist, but we always recommend prebooking to hold your preferred time, especially for color services. The easiest way to lock in your spot is to rebook before you leave the salon. You can also book online 24/7 at any time.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?





Please let us know at least 48 hours before your appointment so we can offer your time slot to another client. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, you'll be responsible for the full cost of the missed appointment.

Can I request a specific stylist?





Yes. You can browse our full team on the Our Staff page and book directly with whoever feels like the right fit. If you're not sure where to start, we can make specific recommendations based on your hair color and type. Just reach out before booking.

Do you accept walk-ins?





We do take walk-ins when availability allows, but we always recommend a reserved appointment. You can book online 24/7 to guarantee your time and stylist.

How long should I expect my appointment to take?





Haircuts and blowouts typically run one to two hours. Color appointments range from two to four hours depending on the technique, your hair's length and the level of lightening involved. If you are adding a Milbon treatment or booking extensions, plan for four to five hours. Estimated times are listed in the booking tool for every service.

Our salon prioritizes the health of your natural hair. Hand-tied wefts, for example, are designed to minimize damage. Proper application and maintenance are key to preventing damage.

How long do hair extensions last?





The lifespan of hair extensions varies depending on the type and how well they are cared for. Generally, they can last anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months.

What should I bring or do to prepare for my first appointment?





Bring inspiration: screenshots, saved photos or a mood board. Visuals communicate faster and more accurately than descriptions alone. Be ready to share your color history too, including any box dye or chemical treatments, so your stylist can assess your hair before recommending a service.

Should I come in with clean or dirty hair?





Lightly dirty hair is completely fine. A day or two from your last wash is actually ideal, as a little natural oil at the scalp causes no issues. However, very dirty hair or heavy product buildup inhibits color from working properly, so if it has been more than a few days, a gentle wash beforehand is a good idea.

What does a consultation involve, and is there a charge for it?





Consultations are complimentary and take about 15 to 20 minutes. Your stylist will review your hair history and goals, look at inspiration images together and give you a clear plan and price confirmation before anything is scheduled.

How can I prevent brassiness between appointments?





Use a purple or blue toning shampoo weekly, rinse with cool water to keep the cuticle sealed, and limit prolonged sun exposure, which accelerates color oxidation in lightened hair. A regular glaze or toner refresh is the most reliable way to reset your tone between full color appointments.

What products do you recommend for maintaining blonde hair at home?





The foundation is a sulfate-free shampoo and a purple or blue toning shampoo used one to two times per week. We carry professional products in-salon curated to complement our color services. Ask your stylist, and they will put together a home care routine specific to your hair.

How often should I come in for a color touch-up or toner refresh?





We generally recommend a gloss or toner refresh every 4 to 6 weeks and a full color touch-up every 6 to 8 weeks, though the right timing depends on your specific color and how quickly your hair grows.

Can I swim or exercise with my extensions?





Yes, but with caution. Chlorine and salt water can damage extensions, and sweat can affect the bonds. It's best to consult with your stylist for specific care tips related to your lifestyle.

What is your cancellation policy?





We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged the full service amount. No-call/no-show appointments will not be permitted to rebook without a pre-paid deposit.

Are children allowed at appointments?





To preserve a relaxing experience for all guests, we're not able to accommodate children accompanying parents to appointments. If your childcare plans change unexpectedly, please notify us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help. Children over 8 may receive services at full price if they are cooperative. Guests under 18 must have a parent sign our policies form.

Can I bring a guest with me?





We're not able to accommodate extra guests for the duration of appointments.

What if I'm unhappy with my service?





If something isn't right, please contact us within 48 hours via email at blondefaithsalon@gmail.com or by phone/text (photos are always helpful). Please note that refunds are not issued, but we will absolutely work with you to make it right.

Do you have WiFi?





Yes! Feel free to bring your device. We just ask that all tech be used on silent or with headphones to keep the vibe relaxing for everyone.

What is your late arrival policy?





If you arrive late, your service may need to be shortened or rescheduled to keep your stylist on schedule. If you are late enough that your service cannot be performed, the appointment is treated as a no-show, and the full service amount will be charged. Please reach out as soon as you know you are running behind.

What is your policy if I'm unhappy with my results?





Please reach out within 48 hours of your service by email, phone or text — photos are helpful if you have them — and we'll do our best to make it right. Please note that refunds are not offered.

Do you require a credit card to book?





Yes. A credit card is required to hold your spot for most bookings, though no deposit is charged upfront. Clients with a previous no-call/no-show will need to prepay a deposit before rebooking.





There's no separate fee, but if you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, you'll be charged the full cost of the missed appointment.

Pricing

Do you charge a deposit?





No deposit is charged upfront for most bookings. A credit card is simply required to hold your spot. The exception is clients who have had a no-call/no-show appointment, who will need to prepay a deposit before rebooking.

What payment methods do you accept?





We accept cash, all major credit cards and Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not accept checks.

How is pricing determined?





Service pricing varies based on your hair's length, thickness and the time and products required to achieve your desired look. You'll always receive a confirmed price at your consultation. Our pricing is also gender-neutral and based solely on your hair and the service.

What color services do you offer?





Our color menu includes balayage, highlights (classic foil, babylights and color melting), all-over color applications, bleach retouches, glaze and toner refreshes, gray coverage and color corrections.

What's the difference between balayage and highlights?





Traditional highlights use carefully sectioned pieces of foil for a uniform, all-over lightened look. Balayage is a freehand painting technique that creates a more natural sun-kissed dimension with a softer, lower-maintenance grow-out.

How often should I come in for color touch-ups?





This depends on the service. We generally recommend glazes and toners every four to six weeks to keep color fresh, touch-ups for solid color every six to eight weeks and highlights or balayage every eight to twelve weeks.

What is the Blonde Faith Blowout?





Our signature blowout is a full-on pampering experience that starts with a consultation and a shampoo using products chosen specifically for your hair type, followed by a custom blowout tailored to your texture and goals, whether that's sleek and straight, bouncy and voluminous or wavy.

What hair treatments do you offer?





We offer a range of restorative treatments to target frizz, dryness and damage. Our flagship is the Milbon Signature Professional Treatment. We also offer Redken Acidic Bonding, Oribe Renewal Remedies deep conditioning and a classic deep conditioning add-on. Milbon treatments are performed only by our Milbon-trained stylists.

How often should I book a Milbon treatment?





We recommend every four to six weeks for best results, especially if you regularly heat style or color your hair.

Do you offer extensions?





Yes! We carry HaloCouture, Hairtalk, Trumatch, Hotheads and several hand-tied weft brands including Bohyme, Bellami and Bombshell. We're proud to be a Bellami VIP Salon. Extensions can be worn long-term (with maintenance every four to six weeks) or short-term for special occasions.

What's the difference between balayage, highlights, and color? How do I know which is right for me?





All-over color is best for full root-to-end coverage or a dramatic change, using demi- or permanent dye. Highlighting adds brightness through painted or foiled sections, ranging from a subtle sun-kissed effect to bold, multi-dimensional pieces. Balayage is a hand-painted technique that creates a soft, natural graduated look with no harsh root line as it grows out, making it a lower-maintenance option. Your stylist will help you decide which approach fits your hair and lifestyle best during your consultation.

We offer Milbon Signature Professional Treatments (Anti Frizz, Moisture, Reawaken, and Repair and Smooth) as a standalone service or an add-on to your cut or color, performed by our Milbon-trained stylists. We also offer Redken Acidic Bonding treatments to rebuild bonds weakened by chemical, thermal or mechanical damage, Oribe Renewal Remedies deep conditioning for extra smoothing and softness, and a Classic Deep Conditioning add-on for general moisture and shine. Your stylist can help match a treatment to your hair's specific needs.
